I have a race 12-1/2 years old mixed dog (Dachshund / Beagle). She gasped, with no more effort, led her to the vet. The vet has X-rays showed he had an enlarged heart and pulmonary edema. The veterinarian has prescribed pills Salix Furosemide (diuretic), so take it for 2 weeks and told me to call him and let him know how he is, and we went from there. The vet gave me an answer or information on this or like a big problem.

I noticed the panting about a year ago. I told my vet, but she refused. Moreover, in the past had asphyxia / episodes of nausea.
